Question.... I've got two flocks, hatched out about 5 weeks apart. An April 7th hatch day and May 2nd hatch day. Right now, I still have the young birds on a medicated chick starter and the others a non-medicated starter......question is.... can I have them both on a non-medicated chick...

We're on day 18 of what I was hoping to be a very good hatch.... I came home from work to find the incubator unplugged and the temp hovering around 22 degrees. It's supposed to be 37.5....ugh.
Should I still be hopeful?!?

Question? Does the air cell continue to grow even if the embryo is not developing? OR is the growth in the air cell a clear sign that the chick is developing? I can clearly see the air cell... but questioning the development.

We live on a small island on the North Shore of Lake Superior. We have an existing flock of 11 hens (one Buff Orpington, 4 BCMs, 2 Blue Maran, 3 Lavender Ameraucana and 1 silver Ameraucana) and one Red Orpington Rooster. We also have a second flock that we hatched out on February...
Day 21 started on Sunday at 7pm.....We have 1 chick that just hatched out this afternoon and it still has a small yolks sac attached. Any one think the other eggs are still viable?? Humifity have been too high during lockdown...around 75%
Any advice would be appreciated.
