    Adding new ducks with my older one

    I have 2 ducks and one of them went missing. I didn’t see any feathers or a body. I obviously need another one. If I get 2 ducklings and raise them what is the best way to add them with my existing one? Has anyone done it before? I can also get an adult duck. Would that be better than 2 ducklings?

    Saw a CNN article about how the CDC said that there is a salmonella outbreak with chicks and ducklings. Should I be worried? My ducks are almost 7 weeks old. I’ll stop kissing them. I always wash my hands after handling them though.

    My two 6.5 week old Rouen ducks are staying the night outside tonight. It was gonna happen sooner but reinforced the bottom with hardware cloth as suggested. Hardware cloth is 2 up the 4 foot high enclosure. The enclosure is 6x6. Here is what it looks like:
