    My soon to be 8 week old hens have chosen to rost on 6’ high pole in run , not coop , I guess this is okay, as run is safe?

    1 month old chicks

    Hello , Been using coop as brooder . Today was their first day in run, sunshine and freedom enjoyed by all. Cleaned out coop . When I put them to bed, should I move feeder and water back inside? Can I leave food and water in run only? thank you, Pawster

    Chicken Run Floor question

    Gravel over a concrete slab presently. This run has a roof 6’ x 16’ . Should I cover gravel with crushed pine straw , pine straw, hay, mulch, pea gravel, crushed limestone...? The gravel layer is for drainage allowance . 1 month old chicks will soon inhabit. thanks for the help. Pawster

    Hello All

    New Chicken Dad here. 7 chicks 27 days old . 3 Buff Orpingtons and 4 Silver Laced Wyandottes. All Growing very quickly. I’ve removed them from Brooder box setup to coop . Much more space. so far everyones seems happy and healthy. glad to be here, Pawster
