    I am down to 2 buff orphington hens, one is almost 9 years old and the other is a little over a year. My mom has raised 4 more buff orphingtons that are 12 weeks old. When I introduce them should I do two at a time to not overwhelm my established 2 hens or?? Any help is appreciated.

    K&h adjustable thermo plate help needed new chicks

    I picked up some buff orphington chicks from the farm store and will use the k&h adjustable thermo plate. Is the lowest level (angled) the right place to start? There's no instructions...when do I raise or lower? Thank you for helping. I want to make sure my new babies are ok.
