    Ideas on breeding pens?

    Planning to build new pens in spring and dividing breeds into their own pens so my horses can have their barn back. Will be starting from scratch and would greatly appreciate ideas/pics. I will be needing minimum of 7 individual pens lean to style each holding up to 12 large fowl.

    Grainy eggshell?

    Has anyone seen this grainy looking substance on eggshells. Not sure if its some kind of parasite or just residue. Found it on one of my birds 1st egg of the season today. It almost looks and feels like grains of sand.
