    Abby is in distress. Wheezing. Made sounds like a peacock.

    I think she has a piece of romaine lettuce stuck in her craw. Help! tried massaging, & couple drops of olive oil. Wheeze is quieter now and she’s walking at eating but I can tell she’s stressed.

    Phoebe recovered from fly strike. Has a tumor but finished antibiotics and is back w the flock

    Phoebes better. Recovered nicely. Back with the flock. She does have a tumor though 😒

    Vent gleet and fly strike less than 4 ur old chicken

    My chicken has both of these problems. Came on quickly. Had caretaker for chickens couple days while recuperating from cataract surgery. wound size of quarter to right of vent. Got all the maggots out and have cleaned one time with hydrogen-peroxide. Have been flushing 2 times a day w warm salt...

    Hello, I’m new to backyard chickens. Have 4 wonderful and different breed “gurls”! Seattle area.

    My chickens are so fun! They are inquisitive, friendly and very entertaining!
