    Recommendations for cold weather humidity monitor?

    Do any of you in colder areas have recommendations for a humidity monitor for coop and outside? The cheap ones that I have seem okay in in warmer weather, but the reading drops to 16% whenever the temp hits 32 F or below. (The official reading this morning for our area was 85% at 23 F.)

    Should I be picking up feathers?

    Seems like a silly question, but now that we've had a few mornings in the mid-to-low 30s, it looks like a feather factory in the coop, run and chicken yard. Should I be picking up the molted feathers, or leave them to mix in with the litter, bedding and mulch?
