    New chickie question - please help!

    We have a total of 9 day-old or a couple hour old chicks. A couple of them had pieces on shell stuck on them and their fur is kinda dried and matted. Should I attempt to clean them when we remove them from the incubator? Also two have dried stuff on their tommys - same question as above.

    Ok, we have candled and I believe we have chicks on the way. Here's the question. When do you acutally stop turning and remove the turner? The start of day 18 or the end of day 18. We set the eggs on Feb 6 around 9:30am. When should we take out the turner?
