    I have a mystery rescue hen

    I bought this hen from a chicken farm. She lays blue eggs and appears to have lavender feathers and a big floppy comb.

    Can the same olive egger lay different shades of green eggs?

    I have a newly laying olive egger. She has layed a few 3oz double yolker but I noticed this week several shades of color difference. Today the egg looked blue. Can the same hen be laying all these shades of green?

    One more mystery bantam

    I got two of these day old bantam chicks at TSC. The coloring is rust, grey and charcoal in a pretty pattern. Three toes possibly feathered feet? I have no idea of breed? Any guesses?

    Who wants to play the TSC mystery bantam game?

    I couldn’t resist giving these 3 little guys (or gals?) a ride home. They are so tiny and cute. Some have feathered feet and when they (kind of) agreed to pose for pictures tonight in the barn, I couldn’t resist sharing these and hoping to get some clues of their breed. Any ideas?

    Salmon faverolle club foot or injury?

    I need help determining what to do for this roo. He can walk but it wasn’t obvious, due to his feathered feet, until he grew big enough to go into the big chicken run. I’m not sure if the turned under toenail made a sore or is it bumblefoot or just what? Acts normal.
