I'm in Canada, and our winters get very cold, and I was wondering if putting the heat lamp on the quails 24/7 would be harmful to them. I don't really have another means of heating them, and I'm not just doing it so they lay, it's just to keep them alive! Keep in mind when can get -20*C over here.

Ok, so some of you may remeber my brooder made by a plastic bin, and a heat lamp??? Well I decided to ditch that idea, and started to build something a little bigger if you will! So here it is!
It is 4 feet long about 3 feet wide, and about 3 feet high!
