hello, Im not sure if this belongs here or in chicken behavior, so I apologize if I get it wrong. Here is my question: my chickens seem to be avoiding the rooster when he tries to mount them, they aren’t scared just tired of him, would it be worth it to even try and incubate the eggs...

    I Love my crazy chickens!

This is my first flock, started out with 15, down to 8 hens and 1 rooster. I honestly love my rooster, the chickens sometimes escape the run and go forging in the woods, but the rooster always leads the flock back to me when I call. Is there a good hanging water feeder I can use in the brooding area for Chicks?

Hello, Is there a better, possibly hanging, water feeder I can use for chicks? I got their current water feeder in a beginners poultry kit from Southern States. If filled too much it seems to leak and create a large wet area in the brooding area. I also think it might be nice to maximize...

    Help Sick Chick?

Found my chick splayed like this, it’s stayed alive but is pretty weak. Any ideas of what I can do to help? Been giving her electrolytes and water through droplet, she seems interested in eating, but doesn’t seem to swallow. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
