Mystery from the TSC bantam mix bin, please help

Not wildly familiar with bantams but couldn’t resist this little feather footed fluff ball from the straight run bantam mix bin at TSC. posting photo of her ((him? *gulp*) as more of a baby chick and now at about 10 weeks. I thought maybe some kind of Cochin perhaps? Is this “blue”? But just...

Why can’t I get the hang of sexing Easter Eggers? Please weigh in! ♥️

I have 3 baby easter eggers between 6-8 weeks old. One I bought as a pullet and she is clearly a hen. Single comb, sweet as can be. My favorite. Not going to bother posting her photo, but proof to myself I can sex at least one bird with confidence. 🙃 Bought alongside her, also about 6 weeks...

Can Salmon Faverolle roosters have pale chests?

I have a ~6 week old salmon faverolle who has feathered out like a hen but has the biggest reddest comb of the baby flock. She is a SHE, right? The only one of her breed in the mix so I’m hoping this is just a breed development thing. She would have black chest feathers if she were a cockerel right?

What breed is this? TSC label error? And gender?

I bought these two chicks as “Cuckoo Marans” from TSC. 🧐 I’m guessing Sapphire Gems or something similar? Also, the combs are still super duper small but are those red waffles coming in strong trying to tell me something? Nearly 6 weeks old. Any guesses for gender and breed?

5 week old Easter Egger and Black Copper Marans, vote on gender?

Meet Bunny and Bagel, a bit over 5 weeks old today and I'm afraid they may both be roos! I know EEs showing patches of red coloring their wings isn't a good omen and my BCM comb is looking a little too large... Any votes? Here's Bunny the EE And Bagel the BCM Thanks for your time &...

Do Roos develop tail AND wing feathers slower? Also, are my TSC “cuckoo Marans” blue Plymouth rocks?

Hey there, loving all my recent impulse buys from TSC and got a little too excited about some straight run chicks I decided to take the gamble. I have two burning questions. First is breed. They were in a mixed bin labeled as cuckoo marans (the others were salmon faverolles, which I bought too...
