I have 3 baby easter eggers between 6-8 weeks old.
One I bought as a pullet and she is clearly a hen. Single comb, sweet as can be. My favorite. Not going to bother posting her photo, but proof to myself I can sex at least one bird with confidence. 🙃

I have a ~6 week old salmon faverolle who has feathered out like a hen but has the biggest reddest comb of the baby flock. She is a SHE, right? The only one of her breed in the mix so I’m hoping this is just a breed development thing. She would have black chest feathers if she were a cockerel right?

I’m guessing Sapphire Gems or something similar? Also, the combs are still super duper small but are those red waffles coming in strong trying to tell me something? Nearly 6 weeks old.
