Hi all I’m new to ducks but have kept chickens for a few years. We hatched 3 Aylesbury ducklings who are now 5 weeks old. I think I have one definite girl as she full on quacks. I wonder if anyone can help with my other 2. I think I’m hearing another girl and possibly a boy (but may be too early...
I posted a few weeks ago asking if anyone could help with the gender of my 2 silkies. Most people thought the paint is a Roo and the white probably a pullet. Just wondered whether now at 12 weeks everyone thought the same?
So I’m still not sure on Peanuts gender. I’ve had mixed responses when I’ve posted before so just wondered whether anything is looking clearer now at 12 weeks? Thanks x
Here’s Peanut now at 7 weeks. I’ve still got no clue if she’s a she or a he 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ Feathering is really slow but I have heard that Lavender Orps can feather in slower. I don’t think there is any wattle growth yet …. Arghhhh 😂😂
I know it’s really hard to sex silkie chicks but has anyone got any ideas on my two little 5/6 week old fluff balls? Coconut is my white silkie and I need ideas for a name for the paint silkie x
Hi everyone this is my first post 👋. I have a 4 week old Blue Orpington and am wondering if anyone can help with signs of whether I have a pullet or Roo? I also have a Lavender Orpington which is a little younger (nearly 3 weeks old). I know it’s really early but can you guys see any obvious signs?
