Day 22, eggs are extremely covered with poop and very dirty as mom has been laying on them. Should I be concerned? I tried candling, but I cannot tell much as I am new at this. Also, I don’t see any movement when I set them on a flat surface and I don’t hear anything.
Trying to enlarging my chicken stock, I currently have five hens and one rooster. Would like to add three more laying hens, but I’m having a hard time finding any local hens for sale in the north Phoenix area. Any help would be appreciated.. primary purpose is eggs.
