I have 30 chicken eggs in the incubator, seven hatched over the last three days. I confirmed today that three of my eggs that had piped died. Pics below, be warned, very sad? What went wrong? I’m on day 22 now, will the rest hatch? No more have piped yet?
I now have 23 eggs out of 30 chicken eggs that haven’t hatched. One has since yesterday been piped, it’s beak is hanging out of the egg, membrane seems to be drying out. Should I help it along? What about the others? Btw there on day 23. Thanks
I’ve got a chicken egg that piped 48ish hours ago and has made no progress, do I need to assist. Help! Chick isn’t responding to any movement of the egg! Is it dead!!!
I have thirty eggs in the incubator on day 19, I woke up at six to see that two had piped. I came home to see two more piped, but no further progress from the others? Should I be worried?
I’ve got thirty eggs in the incubator, on day 19, woke up at 6:00, two piped. Came back home to see that neither have zipped or gotten any further. Anything to worry about?
Today my chicken eggs are on day 17 of incubation. I plan to move them out of the turner tonight. I have it at 100 degrees and 50-55% humidity. Should I keep it at that going into hatching or raise/ lower it. Thanks.
When I went to bed last night at around eight or so my incubator was at about 100 degrees and around 50% humidity. When I woke up this morning, the incubator was at 80 degrees and 80% humidity. They are on day 14 of incubation, I have no idea how long they have been at this temp and RH, eggs...
I bought a still air incubator not to long ago, I’ve started 30 eggs six days ago, and the incubator has stayed at or close to 100 degrees; the humidity anywhere from 40-50%. Should I keep incubating like this till the end? What should I bump it to before hatching?
Thanks:)
I’ve just gotten a little giant and have since put some chicken eggs in, I’m aware that the humidity and temp gauges are off. Though I have gotten my temp right, the humidity is still at 90%. How would I go about lowering it?
Thanks.
