Evening everyone from the UK!!
I'll start by introducing my flock. There is 1 call duck drake with 3 call duck females. He is called Mr Big (after his attitude) then there is Trix (the magpie), Larry (we thought she was a boy at first hence the name ) and finally Mr Big's favourite, Paddle...
Hello everyone.
I've had this issue before with a silkie years ago and just checking if this is an OK thing.
At a first glance it may just look like feathers but I'll put a photo below of one of the others that doesn't have a lump.
I'd be glad if anyone could tell me if they've had it...
We are plagued with deformed ducklings thus year and this one that has just hatched reaches a new level of deformity.
It might shrink as it grows up but it might get worse.
Could it cause any other issues?
Should I see a vet or not?

Hi
I have got an auracana x ? hen that crows like a cockrel. She does it when the other girls are shouting about laying an egg.
She is definitely a hen as she lays lovely eggs.
Hello
A mum to several ducks and a random mix of hens. Unfortunately can't keep cockerells as I'm in a built up area.
Have been keeping poultry since I was 5- 6 (I'm now 17) so have had quite a bit of experience.
Currently have 3 broody pekin bantams that behave like lunatics.
Have 2 pet...
I need help!
I have a call duckling (not yet a week old) with 3 others the same age and it gasps and bubbles every time it drinks. It isn't because of eating too much and getting blocked up because I've been watching it a lot.
Sometimes it has to breathe with its beak open.
It also has one leg...
