I have 8 lavender Orpingtons that need homes! I hatched them out for someone and they backed out. I have 2 Roos and the rest are hens can send pictures if anyone is interested NE Ohio
Wyandotte/Lavender Orpington straight run have about 16 of them. Will also probably end up having full Lavender Orpingtons eventually too if anyone is looking. Not many tho!
I have a chick that seems to be struggling to breathe, she's stretching her neck and gasping a few times then shaking her head. There's almost a foamy slimy goo that sometimes comes out when she shakes it. At times she seems better and then sometimes she looks on the cusp of death.
Well she's on this clutch and candling today reveled at least 8 are coming along nice and veiny lol the dark brown ones were hard to see into with the flashlight were 9 days in
This hen was given to me I think her and her sister are Legbars. Her sister is molting horrifically. But I wasn't given any breed info on the 9 that were dropped off here all of which were different breeds 🤦🏼♀️
So a guy that works with my fiance has too many hens he's giving us all the hens he has that aren't his leg horns. All I know is he said they all have feet feathers 🙄 I was thinking Cochins but im not 100%
I have never had a problem now all the sudden I've gotten 2 of these eggs in one week! They have access to oyster shell 24/7 their eggs otherwise are perfect and no one appears sick or abnormal!
Anyone else have dumb chickens? Lol I bought these waters I've tried for 2 months to get them to use them. I've filled the cups multiple times for them with no avail. Alas I have no ordered these cups to see of they will use them 🙄
Pretty sure my chicken is codependent. She is incredibly attached to me lol if I'm outside she's by me no matter where I am. She stands gaurd while I clean the coop, if I'm drinking coffee she's laying by me. Never in my years of chicken keeping have I had a hen act like her. She's "adopted" I...
Someone explain this behavior. I've never had chickens so obsessed with me lol I can't come outside without being attacked. They peck at me and swipe their beaks across me or jump up and sit on me. I don't understand their noises
