Early fall I had a hen that showed almost all symptoms of being egg bound. She made it through but hasn't laid another egg since. How long will this last or will she lay any more? She's a Polish and is one of my favorite chickens.

My ladies love to scrunch into two nest boxes to sleep. Now they aren't laying yet, maybe in 6 -8 weeks or so... Do I need to cover the boxes so they sleep somewhere else and then when they start laying I open them back up?????
