    Vent sexing???

    I would like to start trying to vent sex my chicks. I have looked on line to know what to look for. My question is: Is there a certain day that is best to sex them? Day old? 2,3,4, etc...?

    Artificial hen to brood chicks?!?!??

    With incandescent bulbs going away, I've been thinking on how to keep my chicks warm after I take them out of the incubator. I have silkies and cochins that are notorious for going broody but no guarantees they will be when I need them. Has anyone heard of making an artificial hen to keep them...

    newbie from Arkansas

    I'm needing little help. Did searching on web, but can't find anything. Have sick chicks. Only young ones. Have eyes shut, not matting and droppy. Anybody have any suggestions.
