    YAY got my chicks from Mt Heathly today!!!

    Well as the tiltle implies I received my very first order of chicks this morning at 645. I ordered 26 and received 27 happy healthy chicks. I'm so excited all of them are doing great so far. I'll post pics as soon as I can.

    Brooder temp at other end from light

    Hey everyone just wanted to say I love this site been lurking for about 6 months now. My question is I know that under the lights you should have around 95 degrees for the fist week then drop 5 degrees a week after that but what is the other end suppose to be? I just built a 4 ft by 3 ft brooder...
