I have a chick that is having trouble with just one of it's legs. Is it possible to just have one spraddle leg???? They are about 3 days old, were hatched in an incubator and not shipped, and are getting vitamins in their water and medicated mash... any suggestions???
I have 16 baby chicks that are in a "brooder" in my basement. One of the chicks that was previously fine has just started "limping". It doesn't put weight on one of it's legs and keeps stretching it's leg and it's wing out. They are on medicated mash and I have been putting vitamins in their...
Wooohoooo! I want to thank EVERYONE on BYC for all of the info and support. We're winding down our very first hatch EVER and we've had 16 out of 20 eggs hatch!

This is my first hatch and I am absolutely clueless. We're not "due" until the end of the month. I know I need to "lock down" the 'bator on day 18. My question, though, is if I'm supposed to remove the chicks after they've fluffed if the rest of them haven't hatched yet, or do I wait until...
