    Oyster Shell as grit??

    Not sure why I havn't thought of this before but can oyster shell serve the same purpose as grit does for their digestion???

    Old battle scars...

    Found this guy yesterday at the same ladies house that I got the peachicks.... He had been in quite a battle and lost his eye but I really liked him so I asked if I could have him and she said yes. He is a silver phoenix and he is three years old. very sweet guy

    I had a post on Craigslist for baby peafowl wanted and havn't had a call on them and yesterday out of nowhere I got a call from a lady that said she had some baby pied and silver pied chicks... Of course I thought she was probably not here locally because you just never see any around here like...

    New peacock pen :)

    I am so excited about my new pen. My landlord gave me some PVC pipe he had used for a greenhouse and I am making a peafowl pen out of it its 20 x 50. should get the netting next monday just need to find something to go around the sides.
