I have a black star hen, shes a really big girl. Her butt is so big that she has a white stripe under it from when she poops. also whenever she lays an egg its cracked and smooshed in on one end. So im wondering does she have an abnormaly high vent or does she have an abnormaly big butt? and...
i know large egg farms do this to increase egg output but it seems kind of rude, is this bad for chickens? can they even get any sleep with the lights on 24/7?
