    I have four muskovie hens, they at the moment live with my egglayers. My question is will they use the chickens nest boxes? They are about 16inches off the ground.. they are juveniles right now so i dont expect them to start laying till spring.

    My room is naturally warm with the bator there. The only way it could have been bumped is if someone unlocked my bedroom door. My bator is set for 99° so I'm assuming by turning on the heat that's what mad it go so high.. thanks for your help. :)

I have been at work all day I got home checked the temp in the bator and it was at 103° how long can the eggs last in that type of heat?     So I put 6 eggs in the bator 19 days ago... And their due to hatch on three 31st, well yesterday day 18 of hatching theirs one that is peeping hasn't actually officially piped yet but is this normal?

    this is my first time incubating eggs and I am trying the dry incubation process I candled tonight and am on day 15 but the 6 that are supposed to hatch soon seem to have a abnormally large air sack is this normal? I read somewhere that when the air sac is too big it means they are shrink...

    Its sitting at 100 right now. Its a still air incubator I think I finally got it under control! It wasn't that high for more than three hours I think about an hr.

    So I know the humidity will change but now my bator is sitting at 95 will it come back up? I've never hatched in a bator, so I don't know. It was sitting at 101 before adding eggs. Any and all help is appreciated!
