JJ.....You may have a point!! I have been setting traps for Coons and have caught nothing?? About 2 weeks ago in the Daytime, I seen a big Owl on 2 or 3 Occasions ( In my neighbors Trees)...Maybe that's what it is!!Thanks JJ
Thanks everyone else for the Suggestions....Whatever it was...
Last nite some Varmits (Coons I think) attack my Quail!! They ate their feet and then some of them lost their Heads!!! These SOBs will pay tonite!!
I got my trap set with some of the dead birds......I might cut their feet off to show them ,how it feels?? I now that sounds sick.....But I am...

I know what you mean by the Bobs don't like Changes. Yesterday I took some cut-up Apples and put 'em in my Brooders with Bobs around 4 weeks old.
They went Crazy!! "Bong....Bong"....BONG" hitting the wire top of the brooders!!! I hurriedly took the Apples out and everything calmed down...

Here's my Take on comparing the 2 birds and I was raised on Hunting and eating Bobwhites. Bobwhites to me are #1 far as taste and texture.
Coturnix is also very good, a little different taste, but IMHO they are #2...But they also are quite tasty,... love both of them Flour battered and fried...
