Several Young, Nice Roosters in Southeastern PA

Hi! I unfortunately have too many roosters. Mainly due to being sold chicks that were supposed to be pullets, but turned out to be roosters. They are good with kids and dogs & easy to handle. My Ameraucana mix is particularly pretty (one of my hen's hatched him). The others are mystery...

Southeast Pennsylvania eight chickens need rehoming

Hi. Are you still needing a home for your hens? I am in Chester County and am looking for more hens. We are vegetarians so we never eat our chickens! I would be glad to provide you with a lot more info and pics of our coop, etc. Thanks, Ali

PA (chester county) - Several Young Roosters Need Home

Our official rooster count is up to 8!!! We started with one, then we had 2 chicks our hens hatched that turned out to be roosters. On a whim we bought 6 chicks from Tractor Supply this spring. We bought "sexed pullets" (breed was "hatchery choice"). These chicks grew up and guess how many...

2 ducks need new home - outside Philadelphia PA

We found a pair of bonded ducks at a local park/pond about 1 year ago. They were clearly tame and one of them has "angel wing," so we brought them home. We believe they were once someone's pets but were dumped at the park. I don't know a lot about ducks but believe they are both males. Our...

Hen might be walking funny for a while :)

One of my girls lays an egg like that almost every day! They are always double yolkers. And she has always laid them that size - just shortly after she started laying. I really should have taken a picture of one of her giant eggs next to the tiny little green egg my bantam laid for the first...

Will blind chicken be picked on?

Thanks for the feedback. I know they pick on chickens who are sick, etc - but my hope was that they might not even notice that the other chicken is different in some way. I'm not sure if I should take the chance - it would be difficult to keep them separate.

Will blind chicken be picked on?

Hi. Someone is rehoming their blind hen. I've always had a heart for special need animals and would like to take her. Do you think my other hens will pick on her to much? I do not have a rooster to keep their behavior in check. The blind chicken is standard size just like the rest of my...

19 week old Red Pyle Old English Game Bantam rooster.. PU only!!!

How loudly does he crow? Has he been around dogs? We've been considering adding a rooster - we have only hens now. My main concern is a rooster being too loud for our neighbors. We're in Southeastern PA.
