I'd suggest keeping the cat inside...permanently. My neighbor has like 5 cats that live outside all the time, even in the night. These cats wreak havoc in the area and kill tons of songbirds. It really annoys me. They had been eyeing my chickens for a while until one morning I found one...

I'd isolate both chicks from the rest to avoid the chance of something contagious spreading and them being picked on.
From what I've read, you can get terramycin ointment at your local drug store and apply that directly to the swollen area. If you can, it may be a good idea to get him to the...
Don't let any emotions or sympathy for the dog get in the way. The dog has killed your chickens, and the neighbor doesn't care. The cheapest, easiest, and most effective option is to shoot it next time you see it. Just dig a hole and keep quiet about it. It's your chickens or the dog. Hope that...
Hopefully animal control will take the dog away. If they don't, keep your chickens locked up and wait for it. He will be back. When he comes back, shoot it/stab it/hit it whatever. Anyway that'll kill it works. May sound cruel but this dog only deserves what your two chickens got. Good luck...
I might go and check out Alamo Hay and Grain tomorrow. Has anybody been there? If so is it any good?(Compared to my regular Concord Feed.) I was reading some yelp reviews and there were quite a few complaints about the animals being in poor conditions. Any info on that? Thanks.
Put lots of sticky fly paper on the top of your run. That'll teach him.
If the hawk can't carry off your hens it'll just rip them apart right there and take what it can.
I saw a hawk sitting perched up in the tree in my yard watching my chickens...I grabbed my bb gun and shot it up the butt feathers and it flew off. Honestly I don't care if it's illegal to harass them though I do avoid seriously hurting them. Gotta protect my chickens though. I've heard that...
I'm not allowed to fire a gun in my neighborhood so I keep a good sheath knife around...helps if you know how to throw it too. If you can get a 1000 fps pellet gun. Those are legal and work well on raccoons.
I saw mine doing this and starting giving them scrambled eggs and more meat scraps(just a few times a week), and they have since stopped. I'm thinking about gathering the feathers they shed and making pillows....has anybody tried this?
