my chickens love meal worms, we tried the mix of nuts and dried fruit and when we gave it to them they just looked at us and ignored it. i had an old farmer friend of mine tell me they used to hang a beef heart in the chicken pen he said they liked it and it helped stop them from pecking eachother.
one of my RIRs has a tail that is cocked to the left also, i figured it was an injury from when she was a chick, I just named her lefty and it dosent seem to cause any problems.
My chicks just started laying and i found a poo 2x the size of any eggs they laid so far, and i did the same thing, i got on byc and searched for big poo lol. its good to read that its no big deal.
I don't have any roosters, and if I tell my wife they she thought I was a rooster ill never here the end of it so lets keep that explination just between us.

I have 4 RIR's from the local farm store just got our first eggs, and im trying to figure out all this chicken stuff, so far their a lot of fun I just need to stop the kids from chasing them through the sweet corn patch. I'm looking forward to sharing my chicken fun with everyone.
