I will try the iodine thing but could really use more info. i have not wormed them as i havent seen any in there stools like i did with the last batch of chickens. i really dont want to have to throw out eggs for 2 weeks either

here are some pics of the sores near the vents of our chickens we thought it to be just one but upon further looking at the others they all seem to have these sores, some worse than others. We are very nervous for our babies. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

this is Fiesco at 4 months old (now he is 6 1/2 mths)our golden wyandotte rooster he was put in as an extra in our order, what a beauty!!! these are some of the girls at 4months old we have 4 jersey giants,3 speckeld sussex, 5 buff orpingtons and 3 golden laced wy.

We have 15 hens that are 6 1/2 months old and most have started to lay however we already have a black jersey giant who just wants to sit even if there is no eggs under her. Thanks i haven't changed food at all but have given some diff treats maybe that is what did it oh well they are pretty maybe its because hey know purple is my fav color
