    few questions

    I just hatched out my guinea eggs and all them died I believe due to their intestine hanging out, I am sure it was the intestine and not the egg sac. My questions is would the be due to inconsistant heating and humidity. I couldnt get my humidity past 35% half way through the incubation period...

    I was using wazine I think is the name because some of them where gasping and gurgling with watery eyes, the local feed store said that would work, it didnt though..........I incubate them, constant temp around 99 to 100 and humidity stays around 35 to 45 and there is a little fan in there...

    Can you mix 3 week old baby chicks with day old baby chicks? Also how long do I have to determine which is a rooster and which is a hen before the roosters start to fight?

    Wow thanks for the replies everyone, that was fast. I am using a plastic cooler, I guess I will get a wafer thermostat, sounds like that is the way to go! Thanks everyone and I look forward to the future conversations, this is a pretty neat website!

    So I made a cooler incubator and I have been trying to dial in the temp, it floats between 97 and 108 all day but generally stays at 99.....What is the best thermostat to use? I am using a hot water heater thermostat, it just doesnt seem to be sensitive enough.....
