This is the result of a mad-scramble to get boxes in fast, and cheap. We used twenty (I think!) gallon bins, with lids attatched. I jigsawed out the opening, and drilled a few holes in the back/bottom for drainage. Hippie-Dude mounted them to the wall, and gave them a good slant with some wood...
Oh, gosh! She's adoreable. We've got one girl who sounds like she's gargling with mouthwash. I actually thought she was ill when it first started. Everyone else runs from her. I swear they're all wanting earplugs.
We received twenty eight cornish cross from Meyer this past week - with a few packing peanuts. They all arrived safe, and everyone looks good so far. Like you, I was also concerned about the cooler temps, although it's not been so bad here in MA this week. The little ones were huddled together...
