    That's so sad. We got our new order of chicks three weeks ago and out of 50, 18 died. Something happened during shipment. But the hatchery is going to send a new shipment to replace the ones we lost.

    My kids are in the poultry club, and my son is in the shooting club (9 and up) up here they meet on the weekends at the Ice House range on Toll rd.

    Wow, I've have missed a lot. I started a new job a few weeks ago, working down in Dayton and it's kept me busy. That and all the kid stuff like 4-H and soccer. I want to say hello to VCfeathers. I'm in VC too on Washington Street.

    My first grader came home with a long stem red rose, and a home made necklace a boy had made for her. She said he gave the rose told her she was beautiful and then gave her the necklace. AWWW. When daddy comes home tonight he's gonna go all caveman!

    Nope, hubby and I were sitting and drinking coffee trying to wake up when my daughter skipped in gave her daddy a big hug and a Valentine card. He gave me the "Oh Crap " look he gets when he forgotten something. We've been married for 14 years now and Valentines Day is always messed up or forgotten.

    OOH! OOH! I want some but I already have 50 chicks coming my way. I split an order with my mother she's not too key on the chicks I think she just wants our rooster Billy. I can just see her putting a diaper on him and making him live in the house with her.

    Thanks! Cassie was only a few weeks old when we took it, I'm not sure if we'll ever get everyone together again for another pic. My brother moved to Arizona and now has his own young family, and there is always something that keeps my sister's and I from meeting up all together in one place...
