My friend has sebastapols that she keeps outside all winter. They have a calf hut to go in to get out of the wind and she keeps it filled with clean hay. She told me that they almost never go inside tho! Last winter here in Northern WI, be had crazy cold temps. Like, -50F for a few weeks...

That sounds awful Frenchtoast! I haven't heard of that syndrome, but I do know they prescribe cpaps even if you don't have apnea. It just insures that you get plenty of oxygen while you're sleeping. Even if you don't stop breathing, which is what apnea is. Apparently I wake myself up a million...

If your chickens dont like the shape of the pellets try adding water to make a mash. My chickens prefer their food in mash form, but they eat both. I free feed the crumble and I give them a big bowl of mash every morning. Plus fruits, veggies, bugs, etc. I'm also a city girl with pet chickens...
