Sorry for all the photos, but they're just too cute! Thank you everyone for your help!
So I have a little situation, I have a 2 month old bottle fed kitten and shes so sweet. We got her a companion kitten from the humane society, when we thought it would be a good time to socialize her, but hes just a little rougher than we thought. I've fallen in love with him, but the 2 kittens...
okay, this week I'm going to try to fit her in at the vets, she's 3 weeks and 2 days today. I know she really needs a new kitten to socialize with, but I just don't have time at the moment. I have a VERY sweet and friendly male cat, hes a sweetheart and very docile, so I brought him in the room...
Lately, I have been kind of paranoid about fluids in her lungs, and the other day I think she aspirated, and had milk coming from her nose. She sneezes it out and I wipe it, and it's not a lot. I'm going to get a new bottle, because maybe the hole was too big, and the formula flows too quickly...
Well shes just about doubled in size! Awfully cute! still no signs of eyes opening, but it should be any day, just about a week old!! She's used to us, and LOVES laying in our hands and having her belly rubbed while she purrrs. Here's a picture of her today enjoying the fresh air right after her...
Thank you so much! She's such a sweetheart and has already got my heart. It is a lot of work, but it will definitely be worth it In a month when she starts playing, were going to the humane society to get a playmate for her since shes the only one. Its going to be a long, but fun journey...
The other day I found an abandoned kitten, eyes still shut. I'm feeding it goat milk formula (what they had), wipe it's butt, and keep it warm. All I really want to know is signs of it being happy. It sleeps a lot, I feed it every 2-3hrs, and even have a stuffed animal in with it, any hints or tips?
My hens (5) have a fairly large coop, and then a run. The run is all dirt, and I have some pine shavings in the actual coop. I usually let them out of the coop from 10am- bedtime (6ish) and then close the gate. I have 4 new hens that are just starting to lay, and one keeps laying outside the...
Oh, im sorry, I thought some of the pictures you posted were the bird, not pics that you might have thought to be it. I think maybe a partridge Wyandotte? PICS-
