How to keep RIR Hen on the nest when broody

How to keep RIR Hen on the nest when broody

How do I encourage my hens to keep on the nest when they are "broody"? I have several hens that puff up & squak when I remove the eggs in the afternoon. I'd like to get a few of the hens to keep sittin on the nest. Will they eventually decide to just sit on them or do I have to put them inside...

    Very Aggressive Hen

I have a 7 month old RIR hen that is ruthless. Everytime my wife, daughter, or I walk near her, she chases and pecks your feet, legs and jumps up and trys to flog us. Medicated feed or regular for new chicks????

I use Co-op 16 % medicated chick starter. My RIR's are now about 5 weeks old and roudy! Tractor supply has a chick starter that is 20% also. Better safe than sorry. No antibotics unless they show sings of illness though. Just the medicated chick starter and Sulfamethazine sodium 12.5%...

Worried about a chick *Updated with photos*

I also have two little bitty ladies. Rhode Island Red chicks. They are about 5 weeks old and half the size of the rest. They are just as roudy as the others though. They also seem to eat more than the others but, don't seem to be gettin any bigger.
