    Proper design of Roost Bars

    My chickens use my 2x4 rafters in the coop and the 2x4 perches I have for them. Small side up and in there run I have a couple of tree branches. They free range during the day so they hang out on a fallen cedar tree about 4’ diameter.

    Tractor Supply said that ours were Blue laced Wyandottes too. Figured it out once feathers started coming in that the weren’t Blue Laced Red Wyandottes.

    Lost a bird down to 19. She was an escape artist but she never left the flock. She would be on outside of the fence. I am figuring a hawk got her there was one flying around. Never found any feathers or sign of a struggle. We looked for her all around the area but now sign of her.

    Roofing not on yet that is felt paper put ridge cap temporary to keep rain out. Haven’t put vents in yet, just got the walls up and trying to get trim done so I can put the roof on
