    They mainly run loose but every so often I keep them locked up in there run for a few days to see if I get any eggs an since no, I'm guessing they can't be laying away unless they are crossing there leggs for a few days till ther are free to go back to there secret laying place

    I keep shutting them up in there run every so often to see if they may be laying away but I never get any eggs so I assume they can't be laying away. Yes the nest boxes are big enough I have 3 in there.

    They just have layers an mixed corn. And are free range in 2 large fields. The inside of the coop is quite dark, same as my friends the only difference is my coops a little bigger as it used to be my turkey coop when I had 12 turkeys.

    Yeh they are fed layers pellets and mixed corn like I have done for the last 20 years. At the moment they are on layers pellets with wormer mixed with it. Just trying to cover all bases now

    Both birds had the same amount of dead time before gutting, both were bled straight after the kill. now iv managed to upload a picture hope it helps. not worried about eatting the liver as thats a defo no no hate the stuff, im worried about eating the meat. thanks

    I just despatched 2 hubbard meat birds, 1 cock which was 4.5kg an a hen at 3.6kg. But the liver of the hen was very pale with normal colour patch. Is it ok to eat the bird? Has it a dessise? Why is her liver this colour? Please help as am worried now.

    Thanks thats help full ill get some for next time if thereis one. I rang a friend who lives with a vet an was told he should be ok if hes throwing up. I gave him some natural yogert mixed in some cayen pepper to stabilize his gut an this morning he seem fine, thank god.

    My duck has just thrown up and when i looked there are muchroom type thing in it orange colour. If hes thrown up should he be ok or should i take him to the vets? I live in shropshire UK. THANKS
