    Good question, you can also buy betadine and dilute it down with Peroxide or dilute bleach. Even vinegar and salt will work.

    My tractor coop and run are under a magnolia tree. We have plenty of shade for they free range during the day. Many places to get water, and a small fan in the coop for the night. Our temp. at 7 AM is 79 degrees with 96% humidity.

    Close them in the coop for a day that is cool. Check for snakes they can get in anywhere. What do you have for flooring in o\your coop? mine prefers a mixture of cedar and pine with marigold, rosemary, and other herbs and flower petals.

    Thank you for the great advice. I have seen many cases in the hospital with Histoplasmosis not just in their lungs but in their eyes and growing on the valves of their heart. This could mean long term Antibiotics along with Antifungal IV medications.

    Rattlesnake!

    I had a 3-foot diamondback going into my coop needless I killed it and ate it. Now my black speckled kingsnakes I relocate.

    Is there a breed that you’ve had that you would absolutely not have again?

    My Rhode island red rooster is a pain, the hens are great but he won't let them get near me or anything. My Cinnamon hens are good also.

    I believe this is a twin, one has died and being absorbed or mummified.
