Thanks for the info. But I already froze my hen... So I guess that's out but that's okay. I am almost positive she had mareks disease. All the symptoms point towards that. You noted that your one bird was positive for mareks. So what do you do if one of your hens come down ill?
. Here eyes are still brown. But she keeps resting or keeping them closed. I've done a little research and I believe that is what she has? How long does it normally last before she passes? I am worried about my flock now too.
Okay. Yes my hen has now completely stopped walking. She is on Electrolytes and Duramitocen water. I'm not feeding her chicken food right now, I cooked a scrambled egg with 1/4 a cup of oats and then some chopped up small carrot pieces and then took the eggshell and smashed it and mixed it in...
The other chickens are totally fine. There are no visa leg mites or sores. Food and water is normal. I don't believe it's her normal color but I could be wrong. The windchill has gotten down to -5 here in Cleveland but they are inside the coop which is 45 degrees.
