cornish x, can't stand
I know this thread is old but I have to reply. I am new to the chicken scene and recently bought 6 "assorted" chicks. One of which is a Cornish Cross. I didn't know what I was getting myself into! Poor Dumplin, my monster chick is growing so fast that she can hardly walk. She looks deformed...- Rita63

How to tell male or female?
This is great info for me. I'm a new chicken momma and I have 6 chicks bought at the feed store. Five are all the same size and kind of laid back but one is twice the size and when I reach in the coop he/she runs at my hand aggressively. Also he/she has a bit of a comb growing.....I'm...- Rita63
