Raspy chickens please help!
Went out of town Friday came home today (Sunday) afternoon to at least 3 of my chickens sounding raspy... What in the heck caused this? And how can I fix it?? I spent a lot of time with them on Friday and never heard any of them doing it... I know out weather has been a little crazy (east tx)...- MBagel

What kind of rooster and hens are these?
It's the same roo in all the pictures. I figured he was some kind of mix. And I'm thinking the black hen might be a jersey giant and for the life of me I couldn't Remember the name Welsummer thank you- MBagel

Right decision to cull?
I would have done the same thing and so would have my husband. I do not believe in a mean rooster I have had them and gotten rid of them. I will also say my 2 yearl old comes first bought a nice goat for a decent price but she would ram him evertime he would go outside. I sold her the same...- MBagel

lol I have had quail like once, I thought about raisign to eat though... My family puts on big dove hunts on our place, its mostly for my dad (its his birthday) lol Yeah im ready for deer season too!!!! Im really excited about this new lease we are hunting on- MBagel

Broody Hens
awesome going to check it out.. oh by the way broody is back broody... just took a day off. Gave her four eggs and she hasnt moved since. We shall see if they hatch or not. Crossing my fingers!!- MBagel
