I've culled her. I researched Merek's and she showed the signs listed for the neural Merek's. She had asymmetrical paralysis and labored breathing. Now to wait and see how many of my flock will have to be culled.....sickening.
I have a 14 wk old Americauna pullet that yesterday was a little puffed up and not as active as normal (I didn't notice this, my dad did), today she is not using her left leg, and not opening her left eye. I have her inside in a box and she's content. When the box moves she moves her head...
well those are the two I was thinking of as possibilities. I'm also not familiar with Andalusians....Someone on fb said hatchery Jersey Giants can stray from the standard, with different leg colors and underfoot colors. still confusing
I need some help identifying this guy. He is about 13-15 weeks old. He's farther behind in development than chicks that are the same age, tall and lanky (today it's cold and he's hunched up), has very green legs, straight comb, no yellow on the bottom of the foot. When I bought him as a chick...

I have a chick that hatched this morning (or during the night) and it is still pretty listless. When I found it at about 9 am it was barely moving and cold. All of the hens other eggs hatched last weekend and she has no interest in this new chick so it's inside. If I pick it up and lay it on its...
Are these prices recent? If so, it could just be the whole Easter thing. Eggs always go on deep discounted sales around Easter. I am on the western slope, Interstate 70 corridor, and I sell my eggs for $3.00 per dozen. Each doz has some of each color in it, white, green, and brown. I have...
