    Adorable Kitten 9 weeks spayed

Very sweet kitten. Home raised by myself and son. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Very playful. She has been around chickens in our barn since she was 6 weeks old. She is spayed, has first shots, and been dewormed, 9.5 weeks old. We call her Cheesecake.

    WHAT killed my chickens???

I'm so sorry for your loss, just heartbreaking :( this sounds like the work of a raccoon to me. we found a raccoon out in broad day light hovering on a tree branch planning an attack. they will commonly just kill and not eat. but my dog (jack russell) once found a way out of his 6 layer electric...

should i have a roost bar for chicks if im using brinsea ecoglow

thank you! yes we can make one. i just want to be sure they wont get cold if they choose to roost away from the eco glow. i'm used to heat lamps where their roost bar was just on the outside of the heat. with the eco glow there is no way to do that cause its just on the floor.
