Since having the coop done and chickens are about 5 1/2 months now I did lose one of my leghorns, due to it getting pecked on pretty bad and my son's hamster took a dirt nap as well. Other then that they are all doing well.
This is my progress so far.. It finally coming along and chicks should be outside here soon.. I am sad to day that I did loose on of my RIR chicks. I think the others piled on top of him to sleep. A lesson learned in my first time with chickens.
I ended up going with the t1-11.. I had started to grab the smart side with is now at about 22.00 a sheet. But i really didnt like the pressed board aspect and how long it would last since Im not to familiar with its exterior use.
I truly hope that your are able to be strong during this time .
What has this world come to, that we are so caught up with our lives that we dont notice what is around us. I find it hard to believe that people would pass by this man and keep driving. It we talk time to pay attention , instead...
Im almost done with my coop build but need to put on some exterior paneling. I like the loom of the t1-11 but think its a bit pricey. At 35$ a sheet,I would spend about 200 alone to put up my exterior boards. Any suggestions for paneling?
Also , any suggestions for a primer before I get to...
Thank you, I am from Southwest Ohio myself. I live in Camden. I seen you are from Blanchester. My mom and her family grew up in Morrow , Blanchester, Butlerville area.
Yes, Im sure you can tell the front wall with the chick door. I am going to have a 12' x 12' run on that sides, enclosed poulty netting. I will be the same height of the coop (7ft and have a man door for access). I plan to have my waterer and feed under the coop since the coop is 2' off ground.
