Thanks for any help. We got 4 new pullets in the Fall and it appears two are roosters. LOL
Pretty sure its a rooster. Seems to be crowing. My husband saw it try to mount one of our hens, but wanted some other opinions. It has a floppy comb, it has some "lacy" like saddle/tail feathers.
I have five chickens who are 30 weeks. Been getting eggs from 3 of them for the last 10 weeks. (well one just went broody...) I still haven't gotten any eggs from our EE and our Chantecler hen. I added supplemental lighting several weeks ago, in the mornings, in their coop.

Does it matter if the Oyster Shell gets wet from the rain? I poured off the water and a few seemed to still eat it. Just wondering if its still beneficial when its water logged?

I am doing a lot of reading on when hens go broody. She will not lay egss in this stage. There are a lot of diffrent ways to deal with this. Do a search on here and you will see lots of tips. :)
Thank you! They do reach their little necks through the fence. I bet that is it. And those two are the ones that always do it so it makes the most sense.

I have 5 pullets. The Russian Orloff and the EE both have this area, under their beak, in neck area....that the feathers/skin seems really loose and appears some feathers are missing. The other three are totally fine.
any ideas/
