    'Must have' is a bit misleading... Exceptions Poultry producers who sell eggs from their own flocks at the place of production directly to household consumers don’t need to be licensed.

    Couple of sick girls...

    Started that this weekend... using Pig Swig to start, see where that goes. Gave the two girls in question a bath yesterday, got them cleaned up a bit. No visible bugs or mites, vents looked okay.     Hi all... I've got a girl here, a hybrid red, whose got the balloon crop thing going on, probable sour crop I'm thinking... isolated her last night. Crop still messed up this morning and she won't eat or drink. Tried the olive oil soaked bread and some yogurt but she won't eat anything at all...

    So weird ... tried IE and Firefox both, original issue was in Chrome, ... same result, didn't enter the old password correctly. Although I can sign on with it! Just so strange... I'll try and run it through an 'I can't remember my password' gyration and see if that will reset/correct what's...

    So what's the deal? I log in ... all's good, password is fine. Go to my profile and account settings and hit the 'change password' link. Put in the password I just used to log in with and the new password and it tells me my old password is incorrect. Well that's just stupid as I just logged on...

    Apple cider vinegar...how often and how much?

    Good one! :) I generally marinade in salt, some Dakota Buckaroo (liquid smoke) and some vinegar... don't need the raw ACV for that though. Must be time for dinner, getting hungry!

    Been giving mine oatmeal everyday since it got cold... nicely warmed up in the micro... always throw in a splash of ACV(raw) along with the water necessary to get a nice mix. Then add cut up apples, raisins, sunflower seeds or whatever happens to be laying around that's edible. Do let it cool...

    I'm good on the difference between the two ... filtered & unfiltered (raw) ... I'm wondering if it'll get you anywhere by putting raw ACV into a filtered gallon... would it then become 'raw' after it brews for a few weeks?? Or are you just diluting a good product... ;-) Edit: I guess that...

    Early molt ...?

    yup, those are Red Stars... 3 Black Stars & 3 Red Stars is our little flock. And the molting girl seems to be pretty spry this morning... chasing the wild birds out of the yard and such. So pretty sure it's just a normal molt.
