My hen has been laying 1 egg per day for 2 months now. She hasn't laid an egg in 4 days now and I am worried about her becoming eggbound. Any tips on how to get her to lay?

I was wondering if this was normal or if anyone elses hens have laid this many eggs in one day. I go out there every single day and the first day she laid, there were 11 eggs and they were all normal and big. She now only lays one a day :)

Last night I put a big dog kennel in the run for the new pullet so they can just see her and get used to her. I am getting rid of the roosters, the mean one asap so hopefully when he is gone everyone will get along. My other hen doesn't seem to even care that she is here.

Thank you :) I built my own coop and run because I rescued 3 baby chicks from a trash can. I wasn't expecting to end up with a rooster or even possibly 2. Because of this, I only have room for 3-4 birds and I could only get one more. That is good information to have though, Thank you very much.

Yeah he is definately a rooster I just found out that I have 2 roosters and one hen and I can't have roosters.

My guess is they are 4 weeks all just days apart.

There are definately 2 Rhode Island Reds in there. They look just like mine did when they were little chicks.

The first one looks like a male just because he is already getting a big comb and his wattles are pretty big for his age, they're also turning red already. I would say 2,3 and 7 are pullets and I have no idea with the others. Good luck

I also think the first two are male and the rest are female. I completely know how you feel too, I have to get rid of one of mine after finding out he is a rooster.....I cried :( They all have their own personalities.
