When I got chickens a couple years ago, the children of the breeder named a lilac orpington Oprah Winfrey so I named all the chickens after news or talk show hosts. I had Katie (Couric) Ellen (Degeneres), Rosie (O'Donnell), Barbara (Walters), etc.
The last group of chickens I got were named after female talk show or news show personalities. The son's of the woman who sold me the chickens named the smallest one Oprah so I named the others Barbara (Walters), Katie (Couric) and Ellen (De Generes).

The chick front and center is the one that pokes up from his mother's wing when I go into the Chicken Palace. These three have co-moms who are doing an excellent job with the babies. The moms took them outside to free-range at 4 days old.
