After 19 weeks of waiting there it was, small and all alone but it was there! A beautiful little brown egg! My first, well one of my hen's first. I fried it up this morning and threw in some smoked ham!!! WOW!! Won't be long till I'll have about 96 eggs a week and will not know what to do!

I live in Ohio and it's been pretty hot here as well. I just open the windows and have a tarp over part of the run to give them some shade. They seem to be pretty happy with this set up.
