    Had 3 hatch out today. I'm scared to death for them because it is HOTTTT!!! The mother is a banty and the father I think is our Samatra not 100% sure.... though. Here are some pics.

    I'm looking but I need pics to look at and am having a hard time. I did a search for blue wing and in one pic it looks similiar to it but all the others i saw where very different so Im not sure thats it. Frustating.

    Ok Chicken is still with me. I gave her a bath and have tried iodine/ med. powder. Her eye is also jacked up and when I gave her a bath she stuck her head under the faucet and got some water in her. So now she has some drainage on her left nostril. Left is fine.     Well I tell ya I gt a pullet and she has a rotten wing anythingI can put on it? There isnt an open sore or bite that I can find. But its jus wasting away. I sprayed iodine on the spot goin to try to wash her and try something else. Maybe med. Powder.

    Hi, I have a pullet with a jacked up wing. She stinks like it's rotting, the feathers look almost like they are disintegrating. I don't know anything about doctoring chickens. Any ideas on how to care for her?

    Hi everyone. Just started my collection of chickens. Have 17 altogether with a mix of Rhode Island Red, New Hampshire, teeny tiny Banty's, a mutt rooster and a big ole Sumatra Rooster. They are pretty neat. Get tickled jus watching them.
